Try before you buy with these two FREE 11” x 11” blocks cut from our Woodland Creatures wholecloth quilt.

This pattern uses an unusual thread layering technique, designed especially for wholecloth quilts. This quilt has been designed to be stitched in three colours of thread.

Because this layered approach is a little different to traditional styles, we’re offering two sample blocks as a free pattern so you can test it out before committing to the full version. It’s a great way to trial the stitching process.

Upon purchase, you'll be sent a zipped file which includes detailed PDF instructions on how to lay out the pattern in your longarm quilting software, so you can confidently stitch these test blocks using your digital setup.

Perfect for longarm or digital quilters curious to try something new.

Important file information

This is a digital product for computerised longarm quilting machines. No physical file will be sent, but rather you will receive an email with a download link. Occasionally this email will go to spam so if the file isn't in your inbox, please check spam

The file you will receive will be a .zip folder that contains the pantograph files. This includes BQM, DXF, HQF, IQP, PAT, PLT, QCC, QLI, SSD, along with a .jpeg and a .pdf User Guide. This will give you an easy visual that you can print out and show to clients, or keep for your own reference

We use Art n Stitch to export files and unfortunately they no longer export CQP files so we no longer sell these as standard.

To unzip a file:

Windows
Right-click the ZIP file, select Extract All, and then click Browse to choose a location to save the files. You can also double-click the ZIP file in File Explorer and select Extract All in the top-right corner.

Mac
Double-click the ZIP file, and the unzipped files will appear in the same folder
